OPPORTUNITY: Menstrual Hygiene Management ( MHM) in tribal communities and schools

In the last 5 years we have worked on creating safe spaces for conflict affected children and strategies to improve learning outcomes among tribal children through integration of contextual resources.
While we continue to do the above we intend to contribute more towards building peace in the region and bring out the indigenous wisdom for green future. And we want to do this by engaging with communities in schools and outside school through our students, adolescent youth and community leaders. Through these interventions we have a vision to create Community Leaders for issues around them and empowering them with the right skills and exposure in alignment with the traditional wisdom and practices. The project will cater to creation of menstrual hygiene management champions in residential schools in Sukma district so that learning outcome of female students will not be hampered. Through the project we intend to set up sustainable MHM practices in the schools. The project is being executed under guidance and in partnership with Sukhibhava
