What we do?

DSC_0606 (2)At the core we believe in community led model of education and are currently working on ways by which community, its wisdom, culture and customs can be contextually incorporated in classrooms content and pedagogy.

Alongside we collaborate with government and local administration to ensure better on ground implementation of policies and interventions on ground in rural and tribal areas helping us to reach out close to 10000 children through direct interventions as part of our projects and overall 45000 as part of our collaboration with the local administration.

  • MLE (Multi-lingual education ) and contextual pedagogy: Developing learning and teaching resources which are contextual and based on Multi- Lingual Education. Set up subject labs in mathematics, science and language based on the same concept
  • School Support Program – Use multilingual education towards providing quality education in Sukma and also support residential schools like Pota Cabin in Standard School Operations
  • Gyanodaya: Support multiple initiatives under Gyanodaya project in education city, Sukma
  • Jigyasa: Design and run programs to strengthen science education in Sukma: DSC_0607 (2)
    • Mobile Science Van
    • Science Park
    • General science education and training
  • Supporting District Education department and Sarv Shiksha Abhiyaan as technical partners

Along with the above Shiksharth will also integrate the above interventions with the following:

  1. PEACE LEADERS DEVELOPMENT – SUKMA ADOLOSCENTS AND YOUTH
  • Aim: To develop the adolescents as peace ambassadors in their villages who can mobilize the community towards adopting peaceful lifestyle in the long run
  1. RURAL AND TRIBAL EDUCATION RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT FACILITY
  • Working on content, curriculum, role of technology and 21st century learning skills, school and teacher development and community engagement
  1. SCHOOL OF NATURE
  • Integration of subject expertise with local wisdom of culture, customs and livelihood
  • Multi-lingual education and contextual pedagogy
